Need to Know

This is an unmarked, off-trail route. Use the Trail Run Project mobile app or another GPS device to stay on track. Tread lightly and be mindful of the fragile desert ecosystem.

Valley of Fire is open sunrise to sunset. An entrance fee of $8 for Nevada residents or $10 for non-residents is required. This trail is very exposed, so don't forget to take water, sunscreen, and a hat.

Description

The Seven Wonders Route is an unmarked route. The run starts at the Fire Wave parking lot in the north of the park, near the White Dome. Just follow beaten paths—or, even better, use the Trail Run Project mobile app to follow a GPS track. I recommend doing this run together with Fire Wave Trail as a loop. You'll be following a route on sand and rocks between colorful hills and through canyons slots. You'll be amazed. Don't forget your camera you'll take a lot of good pictures.

Trail follows a wash out of the parking lot. Makes for tough running due to surface condition, but the landscape traveled through is awesome.
