Riverside and sandy trail turns to mush after a hard rain.

Description

Start/stop on the map is only one entrance to the park. The Nature Center on the other side of the park has a really nice parking lot and playground, so if you drive there you should use that lot.

Most of the trail is well-used and can be congested on the weekends, but most other times it's open. There are some wooden boardwalks and lots of intersecting trails, so you can make your own routes.

The south end can get somewhat overgrown in the middle of summer, so long pants or scratch tolerance is required. Fall and winter is very open.
