Trail can get pretty sloppy.

Description

From the parking lot, the trail heads along the lake shore, curving it's way through the hills and back toward the Haw. At about half a mile, make a road crossing and enter some sloppy trail along the river. Pass a picturesque derelict mill, before getting back into the forest. Continue along until you pass under a bridge and arrive at a parking lot with a canoe launch area.
