Description

Great Divide Trail - Section D (Field to Saskatchewan Crossing) Alternate Route.

This Alternate Route bypasses a forested stretch of the main GDT that is currently (2018) tough to get through due to overgrowth. Most of this alternate route is on well maintained, awe inspiring high trails in Yoho National Park. However, towards the end, around Kiwetinok Pass and beyond, route finding skills are needed.
