Be aware of hunters during the hunting season.

This trail is easy to follow. More trails are being built in the area. There are loose rocks along parts of the trail, so watch your footing. Some people enjoy running it counter-clockwise, while others enjoy clockwise. Try it both ways!

The main loop on the north side of Highway 16 is roughly 6.7 miles long. The loop that runs along the edge of the lake and on the south side of Highway 16 is 1.0 mile long.
