The Oklahoma River Trail offers visitors a pleasant outdoor experience right in the heart of town. While extensive in its entirety, this paved path can be split up in variations to suit any user. As mapped here, it makes a 4 mile out and back starting from the pleasant scenery of Regatta Park. Along the way, you're sure to see fellow trail users out enjoying the day, so smile and say hello to your fellow outdoor enthusiasts if you feel so inclined.

Starting from Regatta Park, follow the path north as it heads toward Bricktown River Walk Park, then heads south again to meet up with the river. Heading west at this point, the trail passes a section of slightly unsavory auto scrap yard before leaving that behind for scenic riverside grass areas and well manicured hardwood trees. When you've ready to head back toward the car, simply turn around and return the way you came.

Keep your eyes peeled for waterfowl and fish in the water. While perhaps not fauna, you may also see people out walking their dogs along the river.
