This trail is part of Rockford Rotary Forest Preserve. Access the trail via the parking lot at 6940 42nd Street, Rockford, IL.

Follow the trail through the forest. The trail intersects an old road at 0.1 miles. Turn right here and head down the hill. The trail ends at the river at the bottom of the hill.
