Description

This trail is the main trail on this small preserve owned by the Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust. Follow the red blazes throughout the entirety of this run. Be careful, there are some very confusing white blazes scattered throughout the preserve.

Shortly into the run, you'll pass through a small power line corridor. From here you'll continue over a few small rock piles. Soon you'll arrive at the cascades. You'll then run along the stream and its cascades for the rest of the way out. There is a small incline that will bring you to a ridge of sorts. This is a place where it is important to keep a close eye on children and pets. The trail ends as the root becomes the blue-blazed "Fly Rod Crosby Trail." Finally, the return trek follows the same trail in reverse back to the parking lot.
