The trail begins as a paved multiuse path (MUP) at the corner of E. 46th Place and S. 103rd E. Avenue and runs along the creek and the Broken Arrow Expressway to S. Mingo Road where the MUP ends. Sidewalk on the east side of Mingo runs to 41st Street, where the route follows the southern sidewalk east to S. 102nd E. Avenue. A signalized crossing to the north side of 41st accesses the MUP again, running north past Hicks Park to an at-grade crossing of Mingo Road. Continuing north under 31st Street the MUP goes around the southeastern edge of Rockwell Park before going under Skelly Drive and 21st Street. A bridge provides linkage to the J.D. Metcalfe Recreation area on the east side of Mingo Creek. The trail continues on past Boeing Park and under Mingo and Admiral to a dead-end.
