Description

There is a neat vernal pool that appears in the spring. This is a loop, the left side offers a short, steep incline to get to the top and then a downhill most of the way back to the starting point. The right side follows where Mill Stream flows into the lake; often there are ducks, heron and an occasional beaver to be seen from this side of the trail.
