This trail is named after the original name given to the town, prior to 1794. It starts from the parking pullout off Route 114 and heads southwest. Just before the broken bridge it passes a small wetland area, where you might be able to see otters. It passes by broken stone about halfway down the road before arriving at Nichols Hill Road.

Turn right up the road to pass by some excellent views over the fields. It turns left and passes by some small cellarholes (on the right). It passes another cellarhole (on the left) before coming off the Class VI Road. Turn left down the dirt road, which is now Deer Hill Road. Follow this road until you reach Stoney Brook Road, where the trail ends.
