Runner Notes

Good even trail with some loose cobbles

Description

From the Eastside Trail, you start in an open field that begins to be spotted by live oaks and pines. Cross the Eastside Connector Trail and continue through thicker forest.

Once the forest opens up into a field, you can find the historic Kumeyaay morteros. Pass the Pine Trail to your right as the trail trends north.

As you continue above the Juaquapin Creek, you find lots of mature live oaks. Soon you power through a boulder-strewn landscape and finish at Dyer Spring Trail.
