Starting at the Outer Ring Loop trail intersection on the west side, the wide grass trail travels next to water that is difficult to see, then transitions to a forest. At the end of the forest you'll find yourself in the center of an open prairie.

The trail then ends at the middle of the Outer Ring Loop trail on the east side. There are several interconnecting trails that are not marked so be careful not to take a wrong turn. Horses are allowed on trails. This route matches the official trail map. Take the Central Connector Forest Bypass Trail to bypass forest and for easier navigation.
