The trail is in good condition with sections of crushed gravel and boardwalk.

Description

This trail has great wildflowers and other native plants in the woods and meadows. The last section takes you to the small pond where there is an outdoor classroom and dock. Look for beavers! Make sure to take the Cedar Brake Loop before finishing the Wood Duck Trail.

Flora & Fauna

The Heard volunteers are restoring the native tallgrass prairie, and there are tons of wildflowers. There are deer and lots of wildlife.
