Description

A good and obvious trail leaves Watrous Gulch Trail #95 and arrives at the saddle between Mount Parnassus and Woods Mountain (where alternatively you can summit Mount Parnassus' broad, grassy and steep slope).

The trail from here is more obvious than some as it takes you along the ridgeline up and down over Woods Mountain and Mount Machebeuf. It may disappear at times but this all relatively easy Class 1 running. Spectacular mountain scenery is in all directions as you above timberline the whole time on this trail.
