Most of this trail coincides with a snowmobile trail; please be aware of snowmobilers (during the winter).

Despite this trail being hardly signed, it appears to be a popular destination. The trail starts opposite the parking area on Farnsworth Road. This part of the trail coincides with the snowmobile trail to the mountain pass. At the pass, the trail turns left along a singletrack. It scrambles up the open rock face to the first view and summit. *There is also an alternate trail that offers a more gradual approach to the summit. The trail dips down and follows the ridge to the actual summit of Peary Mountain. There is an excellent view of Pleasant Mountain, from the top of Peary Mountain.
