There is a fee to camp at Ozone Campground.

Following the official naming of segments, number four is the longest and one of the least used. But don't let that deter you because there is some great scenery on this segment. It passes through both the Mulberry and little Mulberry Rivers with some great views of both valleys. Also, this segment winds by several waterfalls.

Water is generally available along the trail but can be dry as you close in on Ozone campground. Ozone marks about halfway on the trail if doing a thru-hike. I suggest caching water and food here (responsibly, using a bear bag of course!). There are restrooms and trash receptacles at the campground. Also, there is electricity at the pavilion.

A few miles south in Ozone, a great place to fix any hiker hunger is the Ozone Burger Barn and they deliver. Cell coverage is spotty here though...

Fall colors on this trail are astounding. Best time is mid to late November.
Deer, squirrels, birds (notably eagles, hawks, and owls), black bears, mountain lions, coyotes, and even wolves are present along the entire trail
