Runner Notes
This trail is somewhat difficult to see, when traveling at a decent pace.
Description
This trail starts off Prospect Street, just north of the powerlines. It passes by a wet area, below the beaver pond, and climbs (moderately) up to a split in the trail. Traveling along the left spur of the loop, you'll cross over a small footbridge. If you look left (right before turning uphill), you can see the remnants of an old power plant. Follow the blue or yellow blazes out to the waterfall. The Audubon uses blue and yellow blazes; one color for your travel out and another for the return. The trail travels along the eastern slopes of West Mountain, and then descends back to the split in the trail.
