Follow the Ardeche river for miles and miles thanks to this trail. Every turn offers breathtaking views on the nearby rock formations and local caves. Doing the full trail also involves crossing 2 fords: first at 2.3km/1.4mi, then at 9.5km/5.9mi.
This is definitely a challenging route. Some sections will be difficult to pass and require use of hands, depending on the water level that day. Waterproof boots are highly recommended!
