Trail running friendly
Description
Prepare for a beautiful run into this region of unusual red rocks, inside pristine nature. This loop can be done in either direction – you'll be greeted with breathtaking views no matter what.
The trail starts from a small lot (a bigger lot is available further down the road). This version is a shorter version of the Pic du Cap Roux - Full Loop. You can still make a detour and check out the chapel and the water source, close to the trailhead.
The trail alternates with views onto the Esterel mountains and the Mediterranean sea. On a sunny day, you can also see the distant coastal towns.
The trail is well marked and easy to follow. Do not forget to stop by the
Pic du Cap Roux Spur to reward yourself with a 360º view of the area.
