The nearest parking is at the north end of the Peavine Trail and is free.

The city of Prescott has been busy building new trails (in 2023) in the Storm Trails area off of the Peavine Trail.

This one starts at the Peavine Trail just north of the Peavine-Iron King Y-junction. It wanders through trees and open grassland crossing a few dips along the way. After winding around and over some rocky terrain (the biggest obstacle on the trail), it intersects the end of the Bablett Trail and then continues south, crossing Elisabeth Creek until it reaches the railroad grade of the Iron King Trail.

Aside from the rocky section in the middle, the only obstacles are the steep, loose slopes at the beginning and end where the trail comes off the railroad grade. There are self-closing red gates near each end of the trail.
