There are no amenities at this trailhead. Hunting is allowed here and runners are advised to wear bright (blaze orange) clothing during the season. Do not allow your dog to dig in moist soils.
Description
This trail is administered by the National Park Service within the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway. It is an elongated loop through a pine, oak, and maple forest. It's best features are access to cascades in a spring-fed creek that flows down into the St. Croix River, a few views of the river itself, and a vibrant display of Fall color in October. It can also be snowshoed in winter if there is sufficient snow.
