All the major trail intersections in the park are lettered ("N", etc.) and there is usually a park map posted at each major intersection too.

You can start this trail at Intersection H, go east across open prairie, through Intersection G, and end at the parking lot for the Minnesota State University (Moorhead) Regional Science Center. Or you can start at this parking lot, go west to Intersection H, and then take the Old Grade Trail to the park's main parking lot. There is big sky from this trail all year round and, in late Spring through the summer months, great swaths of wildflowers blooming across the prairie.
