Description

It is believed that the Wildkirchli cave was used thousands of years ago by hunters and gatherers during summer months. prehistoric stone tools have een found there, as well as the remains of around 800 animals, including cave lions.

There is a complete skeleton of a cave bear to admire.

On the Road: On the trail from Wasserauen to Ebenalp by way of Aescher.
