The falls themselves are made up of three tiers, which have the effect of creating a dramatic cascade. The frothing falls are the tallest waterfall in Pennsylvania, and combined, the total height is only a few feet shorter than Niagra Falls.

Visitors to the park will enjoy the short trip along the Raymondskill Creek Trail, where the falls soon come into view. There is a lower viewpoint, which highlights the full extent of the tumbling water, and an upper viewpoint, where visitors can take in the serene pool the precedes the waterfall.
