Description
Run above the Nisqually Estuary on this well-maintained boardwalk. View wildlife throughout the year, and on a clear day you can see to Mt. Rainier in the east. This unique destination changes with the tide, from running over the seawater at high tide to looking down at sea critters and birds along the freshwater channels at low tide.
Short Run: Take the Twin Barns Loop Trail towards the Nisqually Estuary Trail & Boardwalk or run the entire loop of the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge.
