Bison Viewing Area [Suggest Edits]

Description

This is a great spot to park on your way into the refuge to see the bison herd. Don't worry, they are fenced in, but still use caution. Also, this spot is seasonal because they rotate the herd from pasture to pasture throughout the year. Check with the rangers at the info center when you check in to see where the herd is located.

On the Road: You park, then walk across the street. You can also access the trails from here too.

◦ All plants, animals and natural objects are protected
◦ Do not collect any natural objects, pick plants or feed animals
◦ Walk only on marked trails
◦ Remove solid animal waste
◦ No entry beyond closed gates or cables
◦ Park only in designated areas
◦ Visitors on grounds after hours will be locked in
