Caprock Trail Lookout [Suggest Edits]

Description

Located along the Caprock Trail, this viewing spot is a great place to check out local and migratory birds that fly high over the valley and lake. There is also a bench to rest and have a quick snack.

Short Run: You can easily access this spot from the interpretive visitor center. Head west on the Caprock Trail about 0.25 miles.

◦ All plants, animals and natural objects are protected
◦ Do not collect any natural objects, pick plants or feed animals
◦ Walk only on marked trails
◦ Remove solid animal waste
◦ No entry beyond closed gates or cables
◦ Park only in designated areas
◦ Visitors on grounds after hours will be locked in
