Jacob Hamblin Arch [Suggest Edits]
Description
The most popular aspect of Coyote Gulch, Jacob Hamblin Arch is an impressive site to behold. At only 150 feet wide and 100 feet tall, the arch is not the largest in Utah. However, it's still an imposing presence in this narrow canyon a produces a feeling of being in a natural cathedral.
Proclaimed by some as the most beautiful arch in all of Utah, this feature is not to be missed.
Half-Day Run: Visiting this arch can be done as a day trip. However, most runners will choose to do this area as a multi-day backpacking trip.
There are four logical trailheads that lead to this gem: Red Well TH (8.5 miles one-way), Hurricane TH (7 miles one-way), Fortymile Ridge TH, and Jacob Hamblin Arch TH.
Gem Type: Natural Arch
