Mount Eddy Summit [Suggest Edits]
Description
Runners will enjoy expansive, wide-open views of Mount Shasta, Castle Crags, and the Trinity Alps from the rocky 9,025-foot summit of Mount Eddy. Along the way, you also get to enjoy the Deadfall Lakes and their meadows, which are lush with wildflowers in season.
All-Day Run: Access is easiest from the Parks Creek Trailhead on Forest Road 17. Then it's about 2.5 miles along the PCT to a junction with the Sisson-Callhan Trail, 2 miles up that to Deadfall Summit, and then less than a mile—but a steep one—up the Mount Eddy Summit Trail to the top.
