Description
This is an old WWII battery placement which was once used for the defense of the mouth of the Columbia River. Kids and adults alike will find great joy in exploring the abandoned tunnels, rooms, and hallways of Battery 247.
Short Run: Located 0.8 miles from nearest parking lot. You can use the McKenzie Head Trail to get to Battery 247.
