Description
When the Yellowstone Volcano erupted, causing many shifts in tectonic movements and plates, the sheer amount of pressure and heat literally changed the infrastructure of the many trees there into stone. This exhibit is a must-see, and scientists suspect that this tree has been petrified for over 50 million years, so I suggest that you "go out on a limb" and come see this amazing exhibit!
Short Run: The nearest parking is only about fifty feet away, and it requires minimal effort to reach the petrified tree.
