Panther Creek Falls [Suggest Edits]

Description

The is a beautiful place to stop, relax, and enjoy the view after a tough run. It will be located on your left side as you come down the trail, but for optimal viewing, you'll need to continue down the the steep incline to the sandy beach. This is also a great place for a campsite if you are planning on spending the night.

Nearby there is a nice dipping hole to cool of in. Located at the base of the falls, this pool provides a great view, and there is always a steady stream of fresh, mountain water. This is a great place to let the dogs out to take a dip or maybe to play fetch. Located at the bottom of the waterfall, this small pool is not much deeper than your waist (about 4 feet roughly). It is not very large for one to "swim" in, but makes for a nice "floating" hole.

Short Run: The falls are located at the end of the main trail (about 3.5 miles in).
