Description
Sunset Rock is a big rock that makes a great spot to watch the sunset from. Enjoy a short (0.8 mile) run along Little Deer Creek and through the tall trees to find a relatively secluded spot to sit end enjoy the golden hour. Add Big Trees Trail at the beginning to create a great longer run before sundown.
Short Run: Park at the lot across from the Giant Forest Museum and run towards the road. From there, signs will point you left to Sunset Rock Trail and Big Trees Trail.
