Point Wilson Lighthouse [Suggest Edits]
Description
This is a beautiful lighthouse that was built in 1897, as a sister lighthouse to the Admiralty Head Lighthouse, just across the water. This lighthouse also had a fog signal building, and a 12 inch steam powered fog horn. The lighthouse is the tallest in Washington, and unfortunately is not the original. The original tower was taken down due to stability problems, and was replaced with the new tower 1914.
