Description
A tower formerly used to watch for forest fires (built in 1929) can now be climbed up for phenomenal views of the surrounding forest. The top room is normally closed but is sometimes opened for programs. It is currently limited to 6 people on the structure at a time.
Short Walk: If you parked in the Fire Tower Road parking lot, you have just a short walk to reach the tower. There are also several surrounding hiking trails that can be used to get to the tower or to hike on afterwards.
