Alpenglow strikes the Eolus group in the early morning.
This photo, taken to the left of the ridge on Mt. Eolus, gives some idea of the loose, scrambly terrain on this route and its grassy ledges.
This picture, taken on the ridge proper of Mt. Eolus, gives some idea of the exposure and terrain. For more solid rock with more scrambling and exposure, stay on the ridge. Staying left of the ridge (more common) is less technical/exposed but very loose.
Here are some goats. They're everywhere, but mostly stay on the Eolus side of the Basin.
