Up and down Skyline Trail on wheels or by foot
The Skyline Trail comes to a split just before this. This is a picture of the left trail (Skyline Spur). Enjoy fields of wildflowers along this spur.
One of your rewards for traveling this section of the Skyline Trail is great views of the Hsi Lai Temple, located at the end of the trail.
A concrete tunnel takes you underneath Colima Road to rejoin the trail.
Looking over Rowland Heights, a small singletrack leads down to Schabarum Trail in the distance.
These switchbacks on the Schabarum Trail Extension are a highlight of this area
