Crossing the creek is made much easier by this convenient bridge.
Trail can get crowded in between the trailhead and the Chicago Creek crossing.
The weather holds as we head out along the Chicago Lakes Trail #52.
The trail gets tight in the bushes in multiple spots.
Log and rock bridge. Watch your footing!
First Chicago Lake coming up on the left. Snow was hard packed enough going early morning and only a couple icy spots (in early January)
