The colors of fall in the Ledges State Park are absolutely gorgeous. Definitely a great fall hike.

The river was way above flood stages for weeks, I've seen many other pics of normal river levels and there's no water on any of this land in those pics!

In a state with mostly flat ground and corn fields, Ledges State Park is like a little piece of Iowa heaven.
Lost Lake
The art welded on the bridge simulates the look of a mine shaft, used to represent the local mining operations from long ago.
There are outcroppings along the bridge to get this view. It's not for people who have an issue with heights. :) It's about 13 stories high (40 meters)
