Water running down the trail after a day of rain in the GSMNP.
One of the creeks crossing the trail toward the end of the trail. After rain showers, the trail can become wet and muddy as water makes its way downhill.
The area is rocky as evidenced by the trees that fall over having rocks intertwined with the roots.
Views off to the left side of the Dry Sluice Gap Trail as you descend along the ridge.
The Kephart Shelter is a fantastic place to lay your head after a long day.
