When the trail turns to the right and back on itself, views of the surrounding valley spread out before you.
The palm trees of the oasis peak out from behind the hill in the distance. The trail descends almost 300 feet to those trees.
The trail as it climbs along the ridge line. It is narrow and exposed as it climbs the ridge.
