The sun creeps its way along the top of the surrounding hills and mountains, while the canyon stays shaded until later in the day.
Ready to head back after journeying into Mosaic Canyon.
Climbing through the wash is fairly easy in the morning, as the canyon is shaded from the sun.
Side trails lead up from the canyon offering spectacular views for those that want to scramble up (and down) the sides of the mountains.
While there aren't a great deal of flowers in the canyon, some can be spotted at various points along the trail.
