There are open stretches along the trail with BIG views.
The trail skims along the top of those rocky crags.
Aspens line much of the trail. Fresh green in the spring and beautiful yellows in the fall.
Looking north into Unaweep Canyon.
There is nothing more calming than a journey in an aspen forest.
