So much green. A thick layer of moss surrounds the trail
The moss is majestic on the Skookum Flats Trail.
Typical of Skookum Flats Trail, light filters through forest to mossy floor.
Recent heavy duty trail maintenance (early June 2021) eases hiking, running, and biking. (Note: trail follows faint dotted line marked Skookum Flats Trail on base map, not the Hiking Project's blue line.)
Sturdy bridge over Buck Creek (Note: Skookum Flats Trail is upstream from location currently mapped in Hiking Project)
Great valley views from the Little Ranger Peak viewpoint.
