The trail climbs to the top of this hill. You can also see the box that contains the trail ledger off to the right.
The Painted Hills are in full view throughout the hike. Enjoy the reds, yellows, and blacks that paint the hills.
More of the Painted Hills unit of the John Day National Monument. The 360 degree view from the top is stellar.
