About half way up the Mormon Trail there is a favorite photo spot with excellent views of the city and across the valley! Stop for a quick break and photo ops

There's plenty of rock-staircase climbing along the Mormon Trail.
About half way up the Mormon Trail there is a favorite photo spot with excellent views of the city and across the valley! Stop for a quick break and photo ops
Enjoy this pleasant view of South Mountain Park and the Phoenix Metro from the top of Mormon Trail.
At the end of the Mormon Trail, turn around or follow the sign onto the National Trail or Mormon Loop.
Navigate the occasional rock staircase along the Mormon Trail.
If you still have energy after the trek up the Mormon Trail, continue a little further to the Natural Tunnel. You'll be treated to a cool respite and fun pics!
There's ample parking at the Mormon Trailhead.
