Enjoy a great view down the Stevens Creek Watershed from the Stevens Creek Nature Trail.
Deer feed along the edge of the woods in the fields in Monte Bello Open Space Preserve.
The San Andreas Fault Trail breaks off to the left and works it's way into the woods. The bench offers a place to rest.
The trail as it leads to to a vista where you get great views of the bay area.
The trail cuts to the right and makes its way through the fields on little more than a lightly maintained trail.
The trail rises above the parking lot offering some of the best views of the Open Spaces in the areas.
Especially after a rainstorm, salamanders can be seen on the trail. These little guys move slowly, so watch where you step as you head along the White Oak Trail.
