This is one of my favorite views coming down from the top of Kennedy.
Looking northeast on Kennedy Trail, Mt. Hamilton (4,265 ft.) stands in the distance with San Jose peeking through the trees below.
Enjoy a bird's-eye view of Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve and the surrounding hills. Most of this video was taken at the intersection of the Kennedy and Priest Rock trails.
Hills and the Santa Cruz Mountains stand on the far side of Lexington Reservoir in the distance. The Priest Rock Trail meanders along a ridge-top on the left. This is looking west from near the top of the Priest Rock Trail.
Enjoy stunning views from the Priest Rock / Kennedy Trail intersection.
Mt. El Sombroso at 2,999 ft in the Santa Cruz Mountains is the highest point on the farthest ridge (center right).
This tree marks a popular turnaround point about 2.4 miles into the Kennedy Trail from the northern parking area.
