Some sort of old ranch wagon (no descriptive plaque yet...) awaits inside one of the old structures.
Old ranch machinery stands outside the historic ranch house and grounds.
Along the Bernal Hill Trail, the Santa Teresa Hills grow verdant in the springtime with the Santa Cruz Mountains in the distance.
The old ranch barn still stands as a window into the area's past.
While in Santa Teresa County Park, be sure to check out the restored old Bernal-Gulnac-Joice Ranch House.
This shaded, wooded section along the last half mile of the Mine Trail can provide a welcome reprieve from summer's heat.
